BlackForge Data Centers (“BlackForge,” “we,” “us”) screens land and selects sites for data centers across the United States. This website, blackforgedatacenters.com, is operated by BlackForge Ventures Series DC26, LLC.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover third-party sites we link to.

When you use our inquiry form or email us, you may give us:

• your name, email address and organization;
• the type of inquiry you’re making; and
• any details, files or links you choose to include.

If we correspond with you, we keep that correspondence.

Many inquiries include parcel numbers, addresses, map pins, portfolio lists, target loads or other details about land and projects. We use this information only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry and to carry out work you engage us for.

We treat it as confidential, limit access to the people who need it, and don’t share it except with service providers who help us do that work or where the law requires it. If you’d like a confidentiality agreement in place before sharing sensitive details, ask and we’ll put one in place first.

When you visit, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. This is kept in server logs for security and reliability.

We don’t use analytics or tracking tools on this site, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.

We use personal information to:

• respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
• scope, deliver and support the work you engage us for;
• keep the site running reliably and fix problems;
• keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse; and
• meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We don’t use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers that work on our behalf under contract: website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), and DNS and network security (Cloudflare). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
• Legal and safety: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of BlackForge, our clients or others.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
• With your consent, or at your direction.

This site doesn’t set advertising or analytics cookies, and it doesn’t use browser storage to track you. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy before it does.

You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and the site will work the same.

We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to respond, to carry out any resulting engagement, and for ordinary business and legal record-keeping. After that, we delete or anonymize them. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period and then deleted.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and the site encrypts data in transit using HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security, but we take protecting your information seriously.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
• correct information that’s inaccurate;
• have your information deleted;
• object to or restrict certain uses; and
• not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you have the rights to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don’t sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we don’t use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Visitors in the EEA and UK. We process your information to respond to you and deliver requested work, for our legitimate interests in running and improving the site, and with your consent where the law requires it. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email sites@blackforgedatacenters.com. We’ll need to verify your request before acting on it, and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. You can also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

This site is intended for businesses and professionals. It isn’t directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

We’re based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll make that clear on this page.
