Hyperscale
Hyperscale refers to the very large data centers and campuses built by companies operating cloud and internet services at massive scale. Hyperscale campuses commonly range from about 100–500 MW on 150–600 acres, with AI-focused campuses reaching higher. They prioritize large, expandable power, contiguous land, water strategy and entitlement certainty, and they typically take service from high-voltage transmission through dedicated substations.
